Keep keys in one place with a holder made from scrap wood and an old doorknob.
Materials:

doorknob and knob plate
paint or stain
sandpaper
drill
dowel
screws
industrial-strength glue
hooks
scrap wood

Steps:

1. Cut scrap wood to chosen size and sand the edges smooth. Paint or stain it as desired.

2. Once dry, insert a small piece of dowel into the knob hole. Drill a hole in the back of the wood piece.

3. Screw the knob plate in position and glue the knob in place. Let dry overnight .

4. Screw in hooks along the bottom to hold keys.
