This unique mirror and copper tubing frame can be used indoors or out in the yard. Hang it on a tree or porch to reflect the beauty of nature.
Materials:

3/4" copper tubing
copper pipe
framed mirror
4 copper elbows
metal adhesive
copper paint
thin craft copper sheet (10" x 10")
decorative patterns (celestial, aquatic, floral, etc.)
gloves
protective glasses
wire cutters
tin snips
pipe cutter
drill, 3/8" metal bit, 3/4" bit
marking pen
tape measure
hammer
medium-grade metal sandpaper or emery cloth

Steps:

1. Paint the frame copper and let dry.

2. Cut four pieces of pipe into two-foot lengths. Measure and mark the midpoint of the pipes and drill a hole through one side and out the other with a 3/8-inch metal bit. Build the frame by attaching the elbows to the pipes with metal adhesive, making sure to line the holes up so that the mirror can be attached. Wait a few days for the adhesive to dry.

3. Drill a 3/4-inch hole in each corner of the frame. Cut the tubing into two-foot lengths. Center the mirror diagonally in the copper pipe frame and attach it by threading the tubing through the holes. Wrap the excess tubing around the frame to create a trailing vine affect. Bend the ends in with pliers to avoid sharp edges.

4. Trace decorative patterns onto the copper craft sheet and cut them out with tin snips. Sand the edges. Add character and texture by hitting them with a hammer. Drill a hole in each piece and hang them with more tubing.
