Shape a sheet of copper into a welcoming bird bath.
Materials:

heavy-duty gloves
copper sheet
copper wire
copper washer
pencil
bowl
tin snips
file
hammer
emery paper or metal sandpaper
drill and high -speed carbide bit

Steps:

1. Put on gloves and trace the bowl shape onto the copper. Cut out the circle and be careful of sharp edges.

2. Hammer the center indentation and the edges to add character. Smooth the edges of the copper circle first with a file, and then finish it with emery paper or metal sandpaper.

3. Drill three equidistant holes; thread a piece of wire through each one and knot them underneath. Twist them together around the washer at the top and wrap another piece on for hanging.

4. If desired, add a perch made out of twisted lengths of wire.
