Remember to include the sense of hearing when decorating with the soothing sound of an interior wind chime.
Materials:

bell
copper sheeting (from roofing supply store)
china marker
tin snips
work gloves
awl or nail
hammer
18-gauge copper wire
drill
patina fluid
plastic plate

Steps:

  1. Cut squares of copper sheeting and draw desired patterns on each with a china marker. Snip the designs out and soak them in the patina fluid on a plate until satisfied .
  2. Drill a hole in the clapper of the bell.
  3. Make a hole in the designs as necessary with an awl and hammer. Cut a piece of copper wire and thread it through the top design.
  4. Make circles and hooks with smaller pieces of wire. Secure them together and connect the designs and bell in the desired order.
