An old-fashioned way of conversing never looked better:
- For a place to write and post notes, a half-cork/half-chalkboard style might have your name on it. A hand-painted frame is a work of art that can be customized with words and pictures that you choose (figure A).
- A blackboard is a colorful representation of who you are and your hobbies. Hang motivational snippets that are great for children to see every single day (Do Your Best, Climb High, etc.). For a sporty idea, cover a board in Astroturf with pushpins that look like daisies.
- A message board covered in toile fabric and accented with ribbon is the perfect place to tuck messages or photographs plus its elegant fabric looks great in a kitchen , office or bedroom (figure B).
- Hang a ceramic platter on a wall and use dry-erase markers to write messages on it.
- Bright and vibrant memo board designs help to run a busy modern household more smoothly by keeping track of activities, appointments, groceries or phone messages.
