Paper Towel Holder

Turn a broom handle into a paper towel dispenser.

broomstick or 1" dowel
handsaw or jigsaw
paper towel roll
wood for base
drill and paddle bit
wood glue
2 double-sided screws
2 doorknobs
stain or paint

Steps:

1. Cut the broom stick or dowel the length of a roll of paper towel, and then cut a smaller piece to hold the roll in place. Paint or stain the pieces and allow them to dry.

2. Drill a hole through the center and one to the side of the base using a paddle bit. Add dowel pieces and secure with wood glue and screws.

3. Drill holes into the dowel tops and put in double-sided screws. Attach knobs to the tops.

4. Add paper towel roll.
