Tin Can Lid Coasters

Put cork in a tin can lid for a quick coaster.

Materials:

lids from baking tins
1/2" corkboard
pencil|
straightedge razor
epoxy glue

Steps:

  1. Outline the lid's shape onto the corkboard with a pencil and cut it with a straightedge razor (figure A).
  2. Add epoxy glue to the back of the cork and set it into the tin lid.
  3. Allow the glue to dry for a couple of hours before using.
