Wastebaskets are a necessity in any home and decorative ones can really spice up a room:
  • Once considered as beautiful as the trash they contain, wastebaskets have become an object of art. We want everything to have great design qualities and it's no different with trashcans.
  • While it has always been practical to have a wastebasket in every room, the current multitude of styles makes it a more appealing option and easier to blend them into any decor (figure A).

  • Use items you may already have such as a lightweight pot or a large twig basket to collect trash. Or, glue a small fabric design and trim to a plastic can to customize it (figure B).
