Materials:
terra cotta pots
white milk paint powder
green milk paint powder
water

Tools:

sponge (sea sponges work best)
latex gloves

1. Mix milk paint powder with water as directed on package by manufacturer. Let stand as directed so powder thoroughly dissolves.

2. Randomly dab/blot green milk paint onto terra cotta pot using a damp sponge to create a mottled effect (figure A).

3. Continue the process using the white milk paint to add depth and create a weathered, aged patina (figure B). Let dry.
