What's a better costume for Halloween than a beautiful spring daffodil and a watering can for treats? This one is easier than you might think.
Materials:

yellow felt
green shirt and pants
scissors
20-gauge wire
hot glue gun
yellow ribbon

Figure A
Steps:

1. Cut 12 petal shapes from the yellow felt and glue wire along the outer edges for stability (figure A). Glue a second petal over the top, sandwiching the wire between the two.

2. Cut a long rectangle of felt out for the horn of the daffodil and glue wire along the center of it (figure B). Fold the piece in half lengthwise, disguising the wire.
3. Glue the edge of four petals to the open edge of the horn and cover all the seams with a folded piece of ribbon cut longer than the horn to form a bow, which will hold it on the child's head. Adjust wires as needed to form the flower shape.
4. Repeat the steps above to make a bib for the two remaining petals, again using the excess ribbon to tie it in place.
