Coffin Utensil Boxes

Serve your guests in eerie style with coffin-shaped utensil holders.
Materials:

black craft foam
straightedge
matte knife
ruler
hot glue gun
marker
pencil

Steps:

1. Measure the utensils, and then draw a basic coffin shape for the bottom onto the foam. Use a matte knife and straightedge to cut the shape out. Trace the shape onto another piece of foam to make the coffin top. Add 1/4 inch all the way around before cutting it out. Repeat for additional boxes as necessary.

2. Measure and cut the six various-sized rectangles for the side panels (figure A). Hot-glue the pieces to the base and to each other. Repeat for additional boxes as necessary.
3. Fill the coffins with knives, forks and spoons and prop the tops next to each box.
