Combine black, orange and white items along twine to make a spooky Halloween-colored garland.
Materials:

twine
drill
white paint
paintbrush
garland materials (dog bone treats, dried citrus slices, nuts, seed balls, fabric strips, raffia, faux leaves, etc.)

Steps:

1. Use a drill bit the size of the twine to carefully make holes in the sides the dog bones and the center of each chosen item.
2. Paint the dog bones white and let dry.
3. Cut the twine to the desired garland length and tie a large knot (or two) in one end. String the treasures, keeping size in mind as you vary the shapes. Spread like items evenly throughout the length of the garland and be sure to have plenty of each shape so the garland is balanced. Tie a knot in the other end to secure the items.
4. Hang the garland along the stairs, across a fireplace mantel or in an open doorway.
