Witch Lantern Steps:1. Draw the witch face on the paint pail using a black marker (make the lines wavy or crooked). Make sure that the mouth is at least an inch or so up from the bottom to hide a small tea light. Cut the pieces out using a rotary cutter (figure A) and file the edges smooth.
3. Cut small venting holes in the hat using a rotary cutter (figure B). Attach the galvanized flower pot to the brim of the hat using epoxy. Let cure, and then attach the bottom face to the hat in the same fashion. 4. Paint the face and hat as desired. Let dry and set a tea light inside. For a spooky outdoor display, hang many lanterns from trees, porch hooks or ground stakes (figure C).
