The dining room makeover starts by painting the cutout wall between the two rooms metallic olive, a glitzy version of a traditional North Woods color. A long-napped roller is used to accentuate the texture and glitz. The cutout between the two rooms is framed in maroon drapes and a valance made of hang tags. One hundred tags were stamped with meaningful holiday words for a little homespun inspiration.
