Materials:
green, red, white and gold paper
silver pen
Ellison accordion #1 die cut or scissors
20 Ellison Christmas tree #1 small die cuts
acid-free glue stick or Xyron adhesive system
corner rounder
Steps:
- Cut the accordion from green paper and fold on the perforations.
- Cut a two 5" x 4" rectangles for the front and back cover using red paper. Use a corner rounder to embellish the rectangle corners. Fasten the first and last accordion folds to the covers using adhesive.
- Cut 20 Ellison Christmas trees (#1 small size) out of green paper.
- Fasten the trees into the pleats of the accordion with three trees on the first pleat, two on the second, three on the third, repeating this pattern until the last pleat is filled with trees. Use adhesive of your choice.
- Cut a gold star and fasten it to the top of one of the trees.
- On white paper, cut 4-1/2" x 3-1/2" rectangle and type or write the message "Hope your holidays are simply . . ."
- Mat the white paper to the green paper with a 1/4" mat, then fasten to the red cover with the adhesive of your choice.
- For the inside message, write or type "Treemendous," then cut and mat to fit the inside of the back cover. Sign your name with a silver pen.
