"Ivy Leaves" Ornament

Materials:

24 Offray/Lion medium ivy leaves
12-inch length of 3/8-inch wide Offray gold ribbon
1-3/4 yards of 5/8-inch wide Offray wire-edge gold ribbon
three-inch foam ball
pearl tip pins
glue gun and glue
pearl stems

Steps:

1. Insert pin into one end of the foam ball.
2. Glue six ivy leaves around the pearl head, overlapping the edges.
3. Starting one inch up from the pin, glue on a second row of leaves.
4. Continue with next two rows in this manner.
5. Make a loop from 3/8-inch wide ribbon and pin to the top of the ornament.
6. Make two, four-loop bows from 5/8-inch wide, wire-edge ribbon and glue to the ornament.
7. Glue pearl stems around bows.

Variation:

• Using a larger foam ball, leave indention at top of the ball to hold a candlestick.
• Decorate by gluing assorted holiday ribbons and cords to the top of the candlestick.
