Learn about the newest trends in lighting. It's no longer used just for task, but also for accents. The designs that people are going for are cleaner, sleeker and even a little bit sexier than they were in past times. An added benefit is that these more updated styles fit right into either traditional or contemporary spaces. There are several advantages of contemporary lighting--it can be smaller and less obtrusive to a space and often times contemporary lighting is, in and of itself, artwork. Many designers say that lighting is indeed the key to pulling a space together.
