Make a unique grapevine-wreath chandelier for country foyers, bedrooms or dining rooms using pots, ribbon and battery-operated lights.
Materials:

14" natural grapevine wreath
garland of cloth flowers
silk ivy garland
sheet moss
scissors
small 2-3" terra cotta pots
4 battery-operated candlesticks
hot glue gun/glue
wired grapevine ribbon
wide lightweight ribbon
small grapevine hearts

Steps:

  1. Cut clusters of flowers from garland and lengths of ivy. Weave ivy tendrils through wreath around the sides and bottom.
  2. Put a fair amount of hot glue onto pot bottoms and press into place evenly around wreath to make candleholders. Hold in place until dry. Glue cloth flowers around pot bottoms to create a ring.
  3. Form a moss ball and place into a few more pots. Add glue to the sides and place on wreath sideways next to empty one. Glue more flowers around the bases for softening .
  4. Cut two lengths of wired grapevine ribbon long enough to hang chandelier. Secure one end around wreath. Determine hanging height and secure opposite end (it will look like a basket handle). Repeat on opposite sides with second piece to form a secure hanging apparatus.
  5. Intertwine lightweight ribbon through grapevine hanger to add color.
  6. Place battery operated candles into empty pots.
  7. Embellish with hanging pots and small grapevine hearts knotted on lengths of ribbon.
