Figure B
Field reporter Joe Zanger visits a mansion in St. Louis that's decorated with 75 chandeliers.

Figure A--The incredible home that houses these chandeliers is referred to as the Jones home. This stylish chandelier in the hearth room was nearly overlooked as the owners shopped for their many impressive lighting fixtures. Found in an antique store, it was propped in the corner and forgotten. When it was hung to observe the dimension of the piece and dusted off a bit, however, it turned out to be one of the more impressive chandeliers the owners have acquired.

Figure B--The public areas of the home, such as the main dining room, demanded the most attention to the style of lighting. Three matching chandeliers cast a glow of formality over a massive dining table that is intended to entertain the high society of St. Louis. These neoclassical fixtures are reproductions from an authentic chateau that the owners frequent in their second-favorite city--Paris.
