The William Heath Davis House
The William Heath Davis House is the oldest surviving 19th century structure in the "new town" area of San Diego. The pre-fabricated salt box home was built on the east coast and shipped around Cape Horn to California. The house was never equipped with electricity. Today, the William Heath Davis House is a museum in San Diego's historic gaslight quarter.
