Steps:
  1. Before painting, remove grime and flaky paint with a heavy brush. Then, wipe the wicker down to remove any dust. Tuck away any loose pieces of wicker.
  2. If using more than one color, mask individual areas with tape while painting the others.
  3. Using acrylic or oil-based spray paint, spray each area, wipe away any drips, and let dry.
  4. Small areas and trim may be painted with a bristle brush and acrylic paint, being careful not to overload the brush with paint. A foam brush should not be used.

Note: Remember, when using an oil-based spray paint, protect the work area and wear a mask whenever possible, especially if the room is not well ventilated.
