Unique Furniture

Designer Carol Donayre Bugg suggests ways to include unique furniture in home decor.

• If you're creative, you can make your own unique furniture out of all sorts of interesting items found at yard sales and salvage stores.
  
  
• Nearly anything that can stand and is the right height can become a table with a new piece of glass on top, such as a decorative pot (see photo).
  
  
• For example, decorate a room with birdhouses and garden items. Add a large birdhouse to make an impressive table.
