Beautiful papers and ordinary white glue decorate a distressed and discarded window.

Materials:

artwork or wrapping paper
white glue
sponge
acrylic paint (green)
water
paper towels
non-ammonia glass cleaner
background paper
hot glue gun (optional)
old window frame

Steps:

  1. Cut flowers from paper and place on glass until satisfied.
  2. Apply glue to the backside of the glass with fingers, and then attach the flowers. Work out any air pockets. Use a damp sponge to clean away excess glue (figure A) and allow it to dry.
  3. Thin paint with water and brush onto distressed paint surface of the window. Wipe away excess paint with paper towels (figure B).
  4. Clean dried glue on the glass panes with a non-ammonia glass cleaner.
  5. Apply background paper to the backside of the windowpanes with glue or a hot glue gun (figure C).
