Go glam in the bedroom--a well-dressed bed is a lot like a well-dressed person. The duvet on this bed is made from a men's suit fabric; the hand-beaded Indian coverlet softens the look and brings in a feminine quality.

The neutral colors being used in today's living room--the grays, browns and creams--are migrating towards the bedroom as well. "Hotel chic has become popular," adds Mark Cole of Plantation. "People today want to make their bedroom feel like a hotel suite so they always feel like they're on vacation."

This room dividing system is a new take on the traditional Murphy bed. It works well in urban settings where space is at a premium. The bed simply folds up to reveal a wood-grain finish on the underside. The opposite side houses a fold-down tabletop.

Platform beds speak to this year's simplistic style and add a Zen-like tranquility to a bedroom.
