An upholstered headboard is one of the most inexpensive things you can do to dress up a bed.
When designing a bedroom, a basic you'll have to think about is selecting a bed frame. It's often the focal point of your retreat. Atlanta designer Monique Gibson suggests using a lower headboard or an upholstered headboard. DC designer Barry Dixon says that from a designer's point of view, the bed sets the tone for the entire room.
