Tile Drink Coasters

Materials:

4" x 4" tile
color stain marker (Woodcrafter's Markers - color: Bright Gold, W46)
photocopy of image
felt

Steps:

1. Photocopy postcard or birthday-card images (black and white copies will work) and cut to size.
2. Place facedown on a white bathroom tile and rub over the image with a wood stain marker (xylene is the active ingredient needed to transfer the image). Once dry, protect with a clear sealer.
3. Glue a piece of felt to the back of the tile to prevent it from scratching the tabletop.

Tip: Do not use images with printed words as they will appear in reverse on the tile.
