Deborah Burnett, ASID, suggests several towel arrangements to add a unique touch to any bath:
- Add appeal to a stack of towels by positioning some overtop of a unique place mat or a small area rug (figure A). Tie a hand towel with a linen kitchen napkin and drape it over the stack.
- For a man's bath, roll up several towels and arrange in a red metal toolbox positioned on top of the vanity. Complete the look by securing a hand towel within the jaws of an ordinary wood clamp or vise (figure B).
- Give a romantic touch to any bath by hanging three towels on three pairs of ordinary coat hooks. Cinch the neck of the outside towels with a wired silk flower and hang a twisted grapevine wall plaque above (figure C).
