Make a lovely keepsake out of dried flowers.

Materials:

shadow box frame
two pieces of balsa wood
utility knife
glue gun
dried flowers
dried fruit
moss

Steps:

  1. Cut small slit in each piece of balsa wood, crisscross to form inside of frame.
  2. Build-up display with moss (figure A). Add dried fruit and flowers in desired pattern (figure B). It's not necessary to glue them as the glass will hold them in place.
  3. Place glass on top of the flowers and moss, carefully work the frame into place and secure it in back with included clips.
  4. Glue moss, flowers and fruit to the outside corners of frame for an added touch (figure C).
  5. Hang frame.
