Materials:

1" copper pipe
3/4" copper pipe (different lengths and joints)
measuring tape
paper
pencil with eraser
copper pipe cutter
pipe grease
3/4" to 1" copper pipe adapters
copper polish
four 1" wall connectors (copper or stainless steel)
3" to 4" deck screws
Steps:

  1. To avoid expensive mistakes, use pencil and paper to outline desired design (drawing as close to scale as possible) before purchasing copper pipe. Once satisfied, buy pipe accordingly.
  2. For the plan featured, draw a large rectangular area.
  3. Cut one-inch pipe into the correct lengths to create the shape.
  4. Grease the threads of the pipe and put together the rectangle, lying face up on a flat surface.
  5. Cut the 3/4-inch pipe to fit as a smaller rack (for hand cloths) inside the one -inch pipe. Grease and screw together.
  6. Use 3/4-inch to one-inch adapters to connect the piping.
  7. Once the main frame is together, use one-inch adapters to attach it to the wall mounts and rings.
  8. Secure the rack to the wall (into studs) using deck or heavy-duty screws.
