Steps:
  1. Establish center whether working with a ceiling or chair rail . Measure the distance where the box is to start (about 1-1/2 inches down) and mark line with a long level.
  2. Decide box width (about 23 inches is demonstrated). Place a square on the level line to create the side panel lines (figure A). Cut pieces of trim with a miter saw and box (figure B). Sand edges until smooth.
  3. Attach top piece along level line with finishing nails. Repeat with side (figure C) and then bottom pieces. Caulk around edges so the trim looks like it's part of the wall.
