Beeswax Container

Materials:

container with separate lid
beeswax
strands of beads
thick craft glue
hair dryer

Steps:

1. On a low setting, use a blow dryer to heat the beeswax until it is very pliable (but not melted). Cover the outside of the container with beeswax.
2. Begin wrapping strands of beads from the top of base container to the bottom. Wrap from the center top in a spiral around the top and sides. Push beads into wax while wrapping.
3. Once the containers have been wrapped, lightly heat the wax with a hair dryer and push the beads into the wax.

Painted Candles

Materials:

wax candle color
paintbrushes
purchased candles

Steps:

1. Melt the wax candle color according to manufacturer's directions. Dip paintbrush into melted wax and paint it onto the candle.
2. Using a separate paintbrush for each color, add as many layers of color as desired.
