Figure B
Materials:

straw or foam wreath (12" to 18")
several plastic or real money plant stems
plastic or real plant branches sprayed gold or silver
sand dollar
5 yards gold ribbon
5 yards silver ribbon
gold spray paint
silver spray paint
hot glue gun
floral pins
floral wire
clippers
wire cutters
picture frame hanger

Steps:

  1. Create a sturdy hanger by wrapping floral wire well under the foam or straw of the wreath.
  2. Spray the entire wreath with gold and silver paint. Dust lightly with spray paint to cover more completely.
  3. Once the spray paint is dry, wrap the wreath with the silver ribbon, followed by the gold ribbon. The idea is to leave just a hint of the underlying base revealed so that some of the paint can be seen. Secure the ends with floral pins.
  4. Spray the money plant gold or silver as desired. Attach several sprigs of the plant evenly around the wreath using floral pins.
  5. Repeat Step 4 using the other branches of other types of plants (figure A).
  6. Use floral wire to suspend the sand dollar from the center of wreath, or hang it from the bottom of the wreath (figure B).
  7. Attach to wall or door using an adequate picture frame hanger.

The idea is to create a theme for the wreath by attaching money or wealth-related items. Use your imagination and related knickknacks by hot gluing or wiring them into place.
