Sometimes you have the perfect candlestick for the occasion but the candles are too wide to fit into them. Don't despair, instead try using a candle shaver available at stores that sell candles. Use it just like a pencil sharpener until the base of the candle fits into the holder.

Music Fan Ornament

One of the best things about the holidays is creating your own decorations. If you are a music fan why not add "music fan" ornaments to your tree. Simply take sheet music of your choice (tear out of old books or make copies of your favorite hits) and fold like a fan--just like you did in grade school.
