Game Board Displays

Create wall art using game boards displayed in a group.

plywood
orange shellac, gel stains, shoe polish (optional)
latex paint
paintbrushes
steel wool
soft cloths
picture hanging wire
hooks
wood glue
hot glue gun/wood glue sticks
sandpaper
heavy books

Steps:

1. Age the surface with steel wool or sandpaper. Cover with shellac, stain or shoe polish to achieve the desired effect.
2. Cut plywood to the board size and paint the edges to match. Once dry, glue game on top using wood glue in the center portion and hot wood glue on the corners. Put books over it until it's dry.
3. Attach wire and group boards on the wall as artwork.
