Designer Lee Snijders shares a great idea for making a custom clock out of a wooden platter.

Steps:

1. Start with a wooden platter.

2. Purchase a battery-operated clock mechanism for the back and hands for the front.

3. Drill a hole in the center and add a clock mechanism to the back.

4. Paint the clock hands, if desired, and attach. Glue the numbers to the front.
