Steps:

1. Cut the 1" x 3-1/2" x 47" wooden plank in half. Vertically attach the cut planks ten inches apart on top of the wooden doll wardrobe (figure A) using L-shaped brackets (figure B).

2. Glue and nail the 10" x 10" wooden frame to the front of the wooden planks, just above the wardrobe (figure C).

3. Cut a square piece of wood to fit between the planks and attach it at the top of the clock structure (figure D).

4. Attach the scalloped shelves on either side of the clock face (figure E). Attach the provincial shelf on the top of the clock structure (figure F).

5. Paint the planks, top shelf and trim of the wardrobe with alizarin crimson paint. Sponge with napa red paint. Paint the face of the clock and the doors of the wardrove with yellow light paint. Sponge with cadmium yellow paint. Paint the remainder of the clock with tangerine-colored paint. Sponge with pumpkin-colored paint.

6. Apply maple get stain over the entire clock and wipe off the excess. Let dry.

7. Apply varnish to the entire clock.

8. Back all wood sheets with double-sided adhesive sheets. Using the pattern in figure G, cut a clock face from a walnut wood sheet. Use a craft knife to cut out the design. Remove the paper backing (figure H) and apply the clock face to the clock.

9. Cut the pattern in figure I from a cherry wood sheet and apply it to the provincial shelf above the clock face.

10. Cut punches from the wood sheets (figure J) and apply to the clock as desired (figures K and L).
11. Add clock works, pendulum and hands to the clock. Cut the wooden dowel to make weights for the clock (figure M).

12. Add eye hooks to the tops of the weights (dowel pieces).

13. Cut the chain into three pieces. Attach one piece to each eye hook.

14. Attach cup hooks to the bottom back of the clock face. Attach chains to the cup hooks. Stagger the lengths of the weights.
