Materials:

light switch plate
Clearly Posh dragonfly stamp
black archival or permanent ink
Decor-It inks in mahogany, verdi gris, copper
Dimensional Magic or Crystal Lacquer
make-up sponges
paper plate
solvent stamp cleaner

Steps:

1. Stamp image onto switch plate.

2. Apply lacquer onto design to raise image (figure A).

3. Allow to dry according to manufacturer's instructions.

4. Squeeze a small amount of mahogany ink onto a paper plate (figure B). Using a make-up sponge, rub ink all over the switch plate.

5. Squeeze small amounts of verdi gris and copper inks onto the paper plate and, using a make-up sponge, very lightly rub each remaining color over the switch plate, highlighting the raised areas (figure C).
