Cindy Piccoli creates an instant framed wall collection by using an inexpensive, ready-made picture frame to display many types of collectibles.

To display a collection of old spoons, cut a piece of foam core to fit inside the frame. Cover it with a fabric that coordinates with the decor, and staple, glue, or tape the fabric to the back of the foam core. Don't worry about making neat corners. They won't show. Use U-pins to hang the spoons on the foam core.

Find old, interesting frames at flea markets, hang them on the wall, and pin or tack up necklaces, beads and other jewelry. Old gloves and lace pieces make nice collections, as do old doll clothes and other toys. Doilies make great backgrounds for displaying other items. Piccoli's displays include angels, heart-shaped ornaments, jewelry, lace doilies, small purses and feathers.
