Fabulous Fountain

Give the gift of relaxation with a soothing fountain made from two bowls.

drill and ceramic bit
fountain pump
rubber tubing
2 bowls (one large, one small)
small sauce dish
decorative stones or marbles
aquarium rock
water
garden ornaments

Steps:

1. Drill a hole in the bottom center of the smaller bowl.

2. Cover the base of the larger bowl (about 1/3 full) with aquarium rock.Set the pump into the bottom and run the plug over the upper edge. Add a few large rocks around the pump to hold it in place.

3. Attach the tubing to the pump, and then hide it with smaller rocks.

4. Thread the tube through the bottom of the small bowl and set it in the desired position. Cut the excess tubing (leave about one inch exposed) and slide the small sauce dish under the tubing for a cascading waterfall. Surround it with more small rocks to hide the tube.

5. Place garden ornaments on top of the rocks.

6. Pour enough water into the base to cover the pump and plug it in.
