Curly Willow Arrangement

curly or corkscrew willow branches
clay pot
aluminum foil
cardboard disk to fit bottom of pot
floral foam
floral putty
plaster of Paris
bowl and spoon or whisk
Spanish or sheet moss

Steps:

1. Line the pot with foil.
2. Attach a block of floral foam to the cardboard circle with putty, and place the circle in the bottom of the pot.
3. Arrange the branches in the foam until you are pleased with the arrangement
4. Mix plaster of Paris and water until it reaches the consistency of thin icing. Pour it into the pot to about 1/2" below the lip. Allow it to dry about 20 minutes.
5. Trim away the excess foil, and cover the plaster with moss.
