A Spring Staircase

Materials:

silk dogwood branches
stems of beads and fake berries
fake birds
bark-covered wire
hot glue gun
ribbon or raffia
brown pipe cleaners

Steps:

1. Put together three branches plus a couple stems of beads or berries and secure them with a piece of bark-covered wire a couple inches up from the bottom.
2. Place the birds where desired and glue them into place.
3. Disguise the wire with a ribbon or raffia bow. Attach the items to the railing using brown pipe cleaners in two or three spots to keep it from sliding down or falling to one side.
