Incorporate a tomato cage to give tropical flower arrangements shape, scale, form and drama.
Materials:

tomato cage
10" footed container
4 bricks floral foam
floral bowl tape
floral knife or clippers
raffia
Lazy Susan
Spanish or sphagnum moss
5 stems birch branches or curly willow
2 stems dendrobium orchids
1 stem sherry baby orchids
5 stems Parakeet heliconia
3 stems red ginger
3 stems purple tulip anthurium
3 stems Obake anthurium
5 stems horsetail
5 stems leucodendron "Safari Sunset"
3 stems white phaleonopsis orchids
2 stems purple dendrobium orchids

Steps:

1. Put container on top of the Lazy Susan and fill it with wet floral foam (it should be about one inch above the rim of the container) and secure it with bowl tape. Push the smaller end of the tomato cage into the foam.

2. Evenly insert five birch branches into the foam around the exterior of the tomato cage and secure them to top of it with raffia.

3. Put moss in the center to cover the foam.

4. Using the tomato cage as a guide, insert tropical flowers cut to varying heights next to and around the exterior and interior of it.

5. Use moss to hide any exposed foam and water as needed.
