Animal Print Vase Materials:
glass vase
Liquid Rainbow Paints (Root Beer Brown, Christmas Red, Gray, White Chocolate)
glass cleaner
paper towels
mixing cups/spoons
applicator bottles
plastic plate
clothespins
Steps:
1. Clean vase and let dry. Set the vase on top of several clothespins on a plastic plate, which will prevent excess paint from puddling on the base.
2. Mix the paint for the base color by combining two parts Root Beer Brown with two parts White Chocolate plus one part Christmas Red. Pour mixture into applicator bottle and apply it to the outside of the vase just under the top lip. Allow it to run down the neck and over the body of the vase until the entire lip and neck are covered. Let dry.
3. Mix the spot paint by combining two parts Root Beer Brown, one part Gray and one part Christmas Red. Pour the mixture into an applicator bottle and randomly apply irregularly shaped and sized spots on the solid areas of the base color. Allow to drip or lay the vase down until dry.
