Glass Bottle Vases

Decorate glass bottle vases using wire shapes and household items.

Materials:

glass bottles
pliable wire in a variety of gauges
decorative wire with rusted shapes
metal basket
baby food jars
wire clothes hanger
salt shakers without tops
wire cutters
needle-nose pliers

Steps:

Coat Hanger Bottle Holder

1. Wrap decorative wire around hanger. Use pliers to curve top hook into a loop .
2. Wrap decorative wire around a bottle and cut another piece to hang them. Use pliers to create hooks at either end of cut wire. Connect one end to the wire on the bottle and hang the other end from clothes hanger.Repeat with two more bottles .
3. Fill bottles with water and place a flower in each.

Basket Holder

1. Create spirals on each end of a length of thin wire and wrap it around the neck of a baby food jar.
2. Cut another length of wire and make spirals on one end. Secure it to the top of the basket and wrap one end around the neck to secure the bottle.
3. Wrap extra lengths of wire at the top of the basket together to create a hanger . Fill jar with water and place a flower or plant cutting inside.

Wired Bottles

1. Dress up bottles with colored wire. Cut a piece to desired length and wrap around body and/or neck of bottles. Hang a collection from key holders or a peg rack.
