Figure B
Author and herb expert Emelie Tolley shares how to use fragrant herbs in bouquets and arrangements to add a sweet scent and lovely look to country decor.
  • Create an indoor winter window box with dried sunflower, yarrow, lamb's ears, lavender, lady's mantel and artemisia (figure A).
  • Use herbs to create colorful wreaths (figure B). Use a floral foam wreath as a base and wet it thoroughly. Cover with a base herb (boxwood was used for this wreath) and fill in with colorful flowers. Keep the foam base wet to keep the flowers fresh.
