Victorian bouquets are perfect for centerpieces with roses, herbs and hydrangea all bundled together. Set one at each place setting to give guests a memento of the occasion.
Topiary

Materials:

1 straight-handled floral foam bouquet holder
5 stems large pink roses
8 stems white mums
1 large blue or lavender hydrangea
5 stems peach spray roses
8 to 10 stems herbs (i.e. rosemary, thyme) and greens
2 stems statice
2 " decorative holder
half brick of dry floral foam
green moss
floral stem wrap (corsage tape)
2 yards 2"-wide green ribbon
1 straight pin

Steps:

  1. Soak bouquet holder in water for 20 minutes. Put it in a square glass holder with dry foam until the bouquet is complete.
  2. Cut flowers to four-inch lengths. Insert one rose in the top center of the holder . Then insert four roses on the outer edges so it's divided into quarters.
  3. Insert hydrangea sprigs between roses. Fill remaining spaces with the other flowers, herbs and foliage to create a dome shape.
  4. Cover stem with floral wrap; hide it with ribbon, and then secure it with a straight pin.
  5. Insert the bouquet into the decorative container and cover exposed foam with moss.

Tussie Mussie

  2. Fold the paper or fabric doilies in half and use floral stem wrap to tightly attach them to the bouquet stems.
  3. Put ribbon around the stem wrap and tie a bow.
