Curly Willow Wreath Materials:
16" brass or wire ring
3 bunches pliable curly willow (or kiwi vine)
3 stems purple statice or other dried flowers
Steps:
- Cut the curly part of the willow into manageable lengths of approximately 16 to 18 inches.
- Gather three lengths and wrap them around the wire ring. Gather three more lengths and tuck their ends into and over the center of the willow just wrapped, and then continue wrapping willow over the wire ring.
- Repeat until the entire ring is covered and the wreath is the desired thickness. The more layers of curly willow used, the fatter the wreath will become.
- Tuck stems of the flowers into the wreath. Add more curly willow to encase the flowers slightly.
