Figure A--This wreath is a great way to welcome a newborn to the new nursery. Rattles and other newborn accessories can be inserted to create not only a warm, decorative wreath, but also one with practical gifts.

Figure B--Dried citrus and cinnamon sticks convert this all-season wreath into a piece of art that can be featured anywhere in the home.

Figure C--Try using a wreath as a centerpiece for a party. Place a hurricane candle in the center for the table setting, then use it afterwards to hang on the wall.

Steps:

  1. After the original wreath has dried out, clip away the wires that hold everything in place until you are left with the wire frame (figure D).

  2. Wrap paddle wire (available at any hardware store) around the branch first, then wrap around the wire frame until secure and in the desired shape (figure E).

  3. Add appropriate decorative items to the wreath--whatever the situation calls for--such as small plastic toys or greens. Use hot glue to attach the pieces directly to the wreath (figure F).
