Viewer Jeanne Rothblatt of Lake Bluff, IL made an inlaid floor with a compass design using 49 self-stick floor tiles cut with a utility knife after heating them with a hair dryer (figure A). With a 120-year-old home, this is a clever disguise of the uneven floor.
