Furry fabric can be cut into any shape for an interesting rug in a child's room.
Designer Ann Sundet shows Joan Steffend how easy it is to create a customized rug from furry fabric.

Steps:

  1. Make a template in desired shape on brown paper. Cut out fabric.
  2. Stitch the edges to keep the fabric from shedding excessively.
  3. Stitch fabric to automobile floor mat backing, available at fabric stores.
  4. Glue the center of the daisy to the middle of the rug.
